Twelfth Night….The Epiphany…..last day of Christmas….!!
And a great day out to celebrate..
We took S to Carrrick to visit our Son and GF..her first time there..
We visited The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo home of Gunpowder Irish Gin….Whiskey and Vodka…they toured the factory while hubby and I just browsed the shop and had a look at some houses around and about..
It is a county of many lakes and the river Shannon but the amount of flooding at the moment is spectacular…..and we saw the Tornado damage in Leitrim village ….now that was scary stuff…!
It was a stunningly beautiful day…crisp and frosty and then there is nothing quite like a sunset in the West of Ireland…
The lovely Christmas tree and cosy fire in my sons sitting room…
Extras….the wee Bonnie is getting bigger and a total bundle of fun..
And the desserts we had tonight in a lovely meal out in their local Italian Restaurant…Affagato…Pistachio Cheesecake…Caramel Roulade and Panna Cotta..
And the list of Cocktails available….of which they could choose one when they finished the tour…!!
