Day 172

Today was supposed to be travelling to Oceanfest day but given how I've felt all week made the call yesterday to not go. So Sod's law I'm feeling pretty alright again today, however, everything happens for a reason.

I still had the day off though and returned to bed after the school run and ststed there pretty much until it was time to pick his lordship up again.

No footy training tonight but we still did our usual coffee n cake. It was most odd slurping a raspberry and cranberry cooler rather than my usual coffee - since my illness trying to cut down for a while.

Afterwards we played on our old park next to the shops. It's been an age since we've played here probably a good two or three years despite our regular shopping trips. I remember having to hold the boy's hand over these stepping stones/ plank and having to carry him over the jumps. Now look at him go.

We settled down to chilli nachos (the boy was impressed and i actually made some of it from scratch - go slummy mummy) and popcorn for movie night.
