Shouldering his responsibility

Off out for a sunset photo (see extra), not had one of those for almost three weeks. Then down to the harbour for a walk where, from out of the twilight this guy paddled up to the beach, hoisted his kayak onto his shoulder and headed off towards his car. He was happy to answer my questions about his sport although I was sure that, if it was me, I wouldn't be getting in a boat that has holes in it to let the water out that comes in the bit where you are sitting. He seemed quite relaxed about it. One question I forgot to ask was what his name was. Just in case he makes the news one day.
