Another flower macro (Day 3161)
Off to Evie this morning to finish off lagging the pipework at the house refurb. There was a bit of a chance to have a blether with C and hear her tales of travels in India.
Home for lunch and I managed to surprise my beautiful wife with a bacon sandwich as she squelched in to the house after taking Sigyn for a wander.
After lunch I spent a while sorting out the van then zoomed to town to collect a load of pellets for the boiler. Next on the to do list was buying a new battery for the van. Over two hundred quid later I headed home with the new battery relieved I have decided to buy and fit it myself rather than getting the Ford dealer to do it. I imagine it would be even more eye bleedingly expensive if they did the job. It is a bit galling that a four year old van is already needing a new battery, but is seems impossible to switch off the function that illuminates all the interior and exterior lights every time a door is opened. Given that I can be in and out of the van multiple times a day it puts a real strain on the battery and it is now at the stage where it has only just started a couple of times.
Fingers crossed tomorrow there will be a bit of an improvement in the weather.
