Breakfast Underground

A customer queues up to order his breakfast from 'Yainis' in the basemant of the St Lawrence Market in Toronto while we (out of picture) enjoy our Greek omlette with fried potatoes and sausages. It was great, although probably had more fat in it than we are used to. This was a quick explore of another part of Toronto, before returning to the hotel to pack up ready for our taxi ride out to pick up the RV.
It was interesting to note the number of people who rather than have breakfast at home were choosing to pick up food (even full omlette meals) to take with then on their way to work, college etc. Obviously a different culture in a large city than what we are used to at home.
Then after a detailed instruction in the various aspects of operating an RV (camper van to all you Brits!) it was off to the Walmart store to get provisions. You don't realise when you do your shopping at home how much stuff you need a bit of that you would normally just get out of the cupboard and use. We forgot to buy any table salt, and probably lots of other stuff. By the time we left to travel to our pre-booked campsite for the first few days it was rush hour out of greater Toronto, although why we call it 'Rush Hour' when so much of it was done at a crawl beats me! Still we arrived safe and sound in time for a swim in the one acre(!) outdoor pool before sitting down to our first ever meal cooked in a camper van.
Still no reliable internet access so will post this when I can.
