Juxtaposition

Old versus new ... one stretching high into the sky, one quite tall for its time, but generally insignificant beside the other , except when viewed from this angle. How position changes what we see! These two have very different functions, one a chimney, one a multistorey office block with many uses today. The CN Tower was built to impress, the chimney probably wasn't, but both in their time important.
