Three cats

We are enjoying our stay with friends. They have three cats and one of them likes to sit on my lap. I quite like cats but am not specially a cat person. However, in a roomful of people a cat will use choose me to sit on. I have no idea why. I finished my book in the morning and went for a very muddy walk in the afternoon. There should be ringing tonight but it is pouring down and some of the roads are flooded so it could be cancelled.
