Did some tidying up before D arrived laden with gifts. Nice to see her! Had a coffee and chat before she continued north to see P and go home. Decided that I wanted a rich fruit cake so walked to the Avenue but was unsuccessful . Looks like all the shops reduced them massively after Christmas so sold out quickly. Must remember to make one next year now that S doesn’t. Walked home through the park very much in winter mode, but at least with a glimpse of sun and blue sky. Did some ironing and had lunch before my first meeting with JF , which had to be online due to roads local to her being flooded. It went well and looking forward to seeing her in person next week. Had intended to collect all the leaves from the drive and grass but they were of course very wet so I abandoned that idea and instead rearranged one of my big cupboards in the spare bedroom and got as much of the tombola and raffle gifts stored as I could, and made arrangements to take the rest to N on Friday. Binge watched Vigil in the evening. Enjoyed it more than I expected to.
