Still

There is quite simply nothing better than waking to a blue sky day.  Especially in January after the storms.  It lifts the mood, makes the small things shine and fills the day with inspiration.  All in all a good start to the day.  It didn't last beyond midday however and probably what caused the change was hanging the sheets on the line.. within about 20 minutes it was raining again.. ah well it was appreciated while it lasted!!

Today is the first day of my husbands Christmas present from me.. he has gone to evening classes.. I think he was looking forward to it and I am looking forward to hearing how it went over supper when he returns. 
Talking of supper I had better go and rustle something up..
