Kookaburra
Kookaburra sits in the casuarina. Two Aussie natives. This is a young one as can be seen by its fluffy feathers. Already it's a hunter. Note the way it's looking down. Seconds later it swooped and caught itself a morsel. Then up it flew, back onto its perch, looking out for the next one.
This beautiful little scenario was nature itself. There is no shortage of people in Sydney Park who feed the birds and I was happy to see this independent spirit, not buying in, doing what is good for it.
