Hexham Park

Kanyl had a follow up appointment at Hexham Hospital, so we decided to have a day out and go with him.  As it was Clickychick's birthday we planned lunch at a restaurant.  Typically we picked the one day in the week when the chosen venue wasn't available.   So we went elsewhere and had a less interesting lunch.

We headed for the hospital allowing time for coffee.  CC was not impressed by the coffee.  Kanyl reported he had arrived, we didn't wait long before he was called.  He was back out 20 minutes before his appointment was scheduled.  That doesn't happen much these days.

My blip is of the park beside the Abbey.  It doesn't look terribly interesting in the depths of winter but is an enjoyable place later in the year in good weather.

CC and I rounded off the day with a good meal at our village pub.  All in all a good day.
