On the Hunt

I'm exhausted, so I'll make this short. Yellowstone National Park is really special in the snow! A 'Winter Wonderland' may not be to strong a description. We visited Old Faithful, the geyser that explodes into the sky right on schedule and several other geothermal features; mud hot pots, colorful springs and more geysers. We saw many of the park's wild inhabitants as well. One was a beautiful young female coyote. She was so focused on hunting that she came rather close to us, even though she knew we were there photographing her. Do take a look at the extras for more photos of this coyote.
