Flooded water meadows beside the River Ouse where it is crossed by the main A272 at Gold Bridge, to the east of Newick.

What today's 'Extra' cannot depict is the howling sound in the layby beneath the transmission lines as the wind whipped through the bundles of conducting wires strung from the pylons.
