Bougainvillea

Nairobi is a very green and colourful city. It is sometimes known as the Green City in the Sun and has a tropical highland climate which encourages bursting vegetation. I woke up to these colourful displays of bougainvillea on the wall of the hotel.

By evening time I was in Malindi on the coast, meeting with colleagues from far and wide, and dining on a substandard lasagne.
