The Knock

In spite of being up for "the bells" and seeing in the New Year in style, CyclopsJnr was still up bright and early.  

Today started properly with a game of Carcassonne with Cyclops before breakfast.  Then more Zombie Dice and Kids Club (FIFA and rampaging) before going for a walk up "The Knock", a wee hill behind the hotel.  There were lovely views of snow-covered hills in the distance as we walked.

After lunch we watched "Polar Express" in the hotel's cinema, then went swimming again.  One of CyclopsJnr's friends from Kids Club was there to they rampaged around together, playing catch and throwing themselves down the inflatable slide.

CyclopsJnr did a bit more work on his lego before dinner, and was delighted that he was allowed to select Sticky Toffee Pudding from the adults menu for dessert instead of being limited to the kids choices.

A lovely start to the year.
