The last of the first.

For many years Chris has held a New Year’s Day Party for the Pudsey Ramblers and once again 32 of us have had a wonderful start to the year.
It is lovely to meet up with older members who aren’t able to do the walks any more.
We all help with the food although Chris provided hot new potatoes and rice, as well as two pavlovas and a trifle.
She decorates her garage with lights and balloons and lays out tables for the buffet. Provides serviettes, knives, forks, spoons, plates ,dishes, and then before we leave gives us all tea or coffee.

However now at the age of 87, and having to walk with a stick she has reluctantly said this will be her last year.
Although she has said this before, I think this time is truly the last.
Thank you Chris for all the many, many happy times we have had on the first day of each year for so, so long.
