Svalbard?

A very happy new year to all you wonderful Blippers!

Did I tell you that I was bought a time travelling machine for Christmas? This has enabled me to take a quick day trip to Svalbard to see the polar bears :-))

Joking apart, it is now possible for us to see the polar bears, as they are only about 40 minutes away from us. It's the first time I've seen them and I must admit, that they do seem very happy in their new surroundings, having been transferred here from a Swedish wildlife park that was closing down. 

Their compounds are enormous with two large lakes and plenty to keep them occupied and thank goodness their keepers seem to be keeping a very close eye on their diet and wellbeing.
