A cheering morning as the new year has begun with sunshine. The shower  got cleaned and I had a lazy morning with little bits of tidying. Things that took about two minutes to do but made a difference. Christmas has more or less vanished apart from the cards. I haven't sorted out posting the calendars which is a must do for tomorrow. Had the annual phone call in the afternoon from my first serious boyfriend.  My mother asked me if I was going to marry him and I heard myself say "Yes", quickly followed by "No !   Not if I can help it."  He had a lucky escape and sounds a happy and cheerful man.
