Happy Year Year

I took this in the early hours.

We stayed over at Carol’s and came home after having a coffee and orange juice.

It was a lovely day but I didn’t fancy trekking back down the hill to see the pipe band at Linda’s where it stops on its way round the village pubs. The reason was we chatted to Ros and Geoff when parking the car and he reminded me he was needing all my images for the talk I’m doing at the U3A Art Appreciation group. He needed to see if the resolution was good enough for the screen.

I settled down to get on with planning the talk and then finding suitable images and before I knew it the sun was going down.

Then I made the cake for Nathaniel’s 10th birthday tomorrow, so it wasn’t the usual healthy start with a brisk walk.

Here’s to a blipping healthy and happy 2024. (I actually did I first blip 10 years ago but tried to cold turkey after a couple of years so it’ll be a while before my proper anniversary.)
