California Vacation ...

… day 4.

As I said on Saturday we had arranged to go back to the Living Desert Zoo & Gardens with Sheryl today.  And that’s exactly what we did! 

And proceeded to have a fantastic day … spending a good 4+ hours there.  The Zoo is an amazing place and the animals did not disappoint … as evidenced by my very full collage!  I’ve even included a photo of Sheryl taking our photo … also included! Those are in the bottom left.  It was so lovely seeing all the hummingbirds and butterflies as we won’t be seeing them at home until next spring … at the earliest!

And, of course, spending time with Sheryl is always so much fun.  Thanks again for everything!

After leaving the zoo and dropping Sheryl off at her place we returned to our condo to relax for a bit before heading out to supper.  We decided to check out the restaurant we were supposed to meet my sister and BIL at on Sunday.  The food was very good … but the sunset as we arrived at the restaurant was incredible … please see Extra.
