Late in the day

I went out for a walk first thing in the morning when there was a little sunshine. It has not rained today for the first time I can remember since arriving. It soon clouded over but I went out again late in the day just to get some fresh air. The living room gets quite stuffy with the log burner on all day. I could not get down to the main drain as the bypass construction site now prevents access.
