It's our anniversary too - 47 years. I googled - amethyst apparently but I got a fantastic gift -  Death in Irish Prehistory  I've only had a browse so far but the book feels good to touch, has excellent pictures and is a major bit of research. Can't wait to get stuck in. Himself was gifted a Donegal geansaí!

Dreadful day here today, serious wind and hail and I've only been for a quick blow around the garden with the cat so this was taken yesterday. Looking forward to more well hunting in 2024.
