Meantime at the Hogmanay Bolt Hole

The restorative powers of being in Hoy at the bolt hole are renowned.  So, thank you to everyone who sent me stars or hearts and comments in 2023.  I also received two blank cheques, fourteen lawyers' letters and an unsolicited inflatable Una Stubbs.

In the Hogmanay, end of year,  Iain@Creel quiz (spot the tautology*) Blippers lesmark /  terri365 / Shuttersister tied for the first prize.  The sealed envelope is with the Iain@Creel Corporate Team in Geneva and winners will be notified directly. In the event of a cravat there will be a further rollover.


Bernard was last spotted in Geneva with a street map of Carluke.  Desmond and Blanche are appearing in Panto on Ascension Island with Christopher Biggins.  It's given a 21st century twist to 'Two Way Family Favourites'.    Neither Jean Metcalfe or Cliff Michelmore were available for comment.   Scullion is skulking in the cellar and relacing his dancing pumps after reading his Christmas book about chilblains.  He has been asked to leave Mensa but is joining 'Denser'.

The Current Mrs Creel was amazed to see Crusher on the ferry.  A Blipper asked why he is called Crusher.  Believe me, you wouldn't want to ask him.
