Re-charging

Both the power bank and camping torch needed recharging today after both were required last night. We were looking after the little one while the parents went to the pub for a couple of hours. He played and then settled well. The monitor had been set up for us so we settled down to watch Reacher. Then total blackout, the whole village lost power. Obviously the pub had to close so we had half an hour chatting by candlelight and then decided best go to bed and hopefully be back in in he morning. It was back on at 12:30, we know this because I left the lamp switched on and it woke me when the power came on.
Another day of fun with the grandson. Wet , windy and cold so only hubby and I went out for walks.
We were very damp when we returned.
Only last week hubby commented on why I always take my power bank away with me and always carry the camping light in the Jeep, last night just proved I am right to do so.
