Reed Bunting

A trip up to Martin Mere this morning essentially to buy a new pair of binoculars.Had some great advice and help however I have had to order them and should be able to pick them up in a few days.Before heading out to the hides for a quick look around treated myself to a coffee and bacon roll.

Very dull and overcast with showers.It always seems to be cold at the reserve so I sat in one of the hides watching the feeders and a Sparrow Hawk swooping in and out.

A Reed Bunting in the main picture and a Long Tailed Tit in the extra.Despite the need for a very high ISO I am pleased with how the pics have turned out.

As with so much in life it looks better large if you have the time.
