Project

I am teaching myself to paint on my iPad.  The advantage is that this is an almost entirely mess-free medium. The disadvantage is that there is a huge amount to learn. After a few days of online tutorials and "how to..." books I have made a start on my first picture.

This shows, on the right, a photograph of snowy Prague taken a month ago. On the left is a painted version, about 40% complete I guess.  The photo took a few seconds to create. the painted version, so far, about four hours. Very challenging but completely absorbing. I know I've done enough for today, as I have started swearing at errors.
