The Local Place

We go back a looooong way with this place at the junction of Santa Clara and Barato Ribeira. Dd found it when she worked a month here in Copacabana by herself, about 15 years ago.  It became a safe haven for her and the manager is still the same guy who welcomed her, then, and us, now, with open arms!  If you look closely you can see Dd at 'our' table just inside the entranceway.  Little did we know that our studio, when we bought it, would be only four minutes walk away!
