Dry Day
Finally, a day with some blue sky and sunshine. I went for a (slightly muddy) walk at lunchtime - on my own, because P has to work, and B is currently on holiday in Thailand with her boyfriend.
It was lovely to be out in the unseasonably mild air. The last weeks have been wet, but not cold; and today we had up to 12°C. It felt like early spring. Nature seems to think so, too, as the winter wheat is growing fast (as you can see in the main blip), and the first hazel catkins are emerging already (in the extra).
This seems to become a pattern - as I remember, last New Year's Eve was so warm, it broke several temperature records.
