Fabulous Formentera

We arrived in Formentera about lunchtime and headed straight to my favourite beach for a picnic - Illetes. I love that you can see Es Vedrà from there too.
We found our little cottage in the woods but unfortunately there were no keys... A bit of a wild goose chase ensued but eventually we found a guy with a spare pair! It looks like maybe the previous guest took them hone accidentally.
The cottage is tiny and lovely, but so so cold!! Definitely warmer outside than in! We wandered along Es Calo beach and enjoyed the last of the sun, and then the beautiful sunset and moonrise!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Being back on this beautiful island. So close to home but it feels so different.
2) The stunning turquoises and blues of the water.
3) A lovey dinner out to celebrate the start of the holiday.
