Our Street

A day of post yesterday bits and bobs and pre holiday sorting (we're off to Formentera tomorrow!). Danny has been slow cooking a gammon joint in cider all day in advance of friends over this evening. Nick, Claire, Mitch and his mum came and had dinner with us. A lovely lovely evening together. Lots of laughing, and hearing childhood stories about Mitchell!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Asha and Nate getting on extremely well at the moment.
2) Getting to know Mitch's mom, Hayley, better. I think she can tell how much we all love him. 
3) Danny's delicious dinner - his Boxing Day tradition - slow cooked gammon with chips, fried eggs and pineapple.
