My husband’s family are foodies and like to experiment something different for the Christmas feast. So we’ve never done the full seafood spread which is so popular in Australia. But this year he thought he’d indulge his Mum who does love seafood, especially given that my brother was meant to be bringing his Korean gf, also a keen foodie. Only poor Kim got sick travelling to Australia and they couldn’t make it to Canberra. We had gravlax and scallops as well as the pictured oysters, prawns, octopus and sardines. Plus a couple of salads and crab cocktail for starters!
