Boxing Day Cold Moon

We had a lovely day yesterday. It was very festive despite the unappealing weather. After our sons and their families had left we settled down with our daughter to watch the first DVD (quaint, not streamed) of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  Took me right  back to Christmas in years gone by when we used to go to the cinema on Boxing Day and saw many a Harry Potter, Hobbit and Lord of the Rings film. Part two tonight. 

Friends came for coffee and mince pies this morning. I've had two decent walks in much improved weather. Today's food is leftovers from yesterday. I love it! 

The blip is the Cold Moon, December's full moon, rising above the Ochil Hills.
