The end is nigh

Normally this is the last day of the advent calendar but this year it seems that they have added a 25th teabag instead of having 2 on 24th. Maybe it’s the new packaging. Today we had decaf tea.
A busy day today. I made Christmas cake, prepared food for Christmas Day. I had decided to try out Nigella Lawson’s recipe for gammon in coke so I did the first half- boiling the ham in coke. When it had cooled I made the glaze. A spur of the moment invitation to one of our neighbours had us drinking g& t before returning to our dinner prep. The ham was delicious.
