… and relax

We hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas Day. Like many of you our day was busy and we’ve only just sat down to chill in front of the TV.

We had a friend, of more than 40years, over for lunch. His wife is in hospital with sepsis so would have been in his own otherwise.

After lunch we went to see Doreen, taking John to see Conchita in hospital. Doreen has made a grand recovery and looked very well considering. She looked splendid in a sparkly top, nicely done hair and painted nails (extra)

We had a good chat with Chris and Landon in California and Madison gave us some smiles. I’m sure she said ‘Nanna’. They all went to San Diego Zoo today (extra). Landon really looks out for his sister.

We squeezed in a damp walk for an hour after speaking to Matt when we got home. Then it was time to relax with a turkey sandwich, bag of crisps, some sherry trifle and a wee dram. (separately)
