Standing Proud
After yesterday's heritage walk around Hoxne & the surrounding countryside we decided on a town walk in Bury St Edmunds today, partly following on from yesterday's King/Saint Edmund theme, partly as our daughter hadn't been there since she was a teenager. Despite the fact that P & I have been there many times, we still managed to spot historical features which we'd never noticed before - always a good thing! My Blip is, however, still continuing with Saint Edmund, Dame Elizabeth Frink's sculpture of him which stands alongside the cathedral - the houses built into the ruined walls of the original Abbey are in the background.
