Crummock weir

With the weather as it was, I decided to go to Cockermouth today to get the Christmas shop. On the way home, I thought the rain and wind had eased a little, so diverted to Lanthwaite woods by Crummock, expecting huge water spouts.

Slightly surprised to find it almost flat calm (extra), but with the high water, I did like the big stopper shot taken from the bridge over the river.
