The path to the Chinese Bridge

When the weather's wet, one of the questions Deb gets asked at Keswick Tourist Information is "is the path to the Chinese Bridge Flooded. Today she was even asked by email, if it would be flooded on Boxing Day! (she consulted her crystal ball, but it failed to give a definitive answer. 

Today it was definitely flooded, and a lot of people were walking through in their boots. These were the semi-sensible ones, taking their boots off. I was even more sensible - I had my wellies on.
