2023 Saturday — Word for Today

Today our daughter, who is here visiting with us from SoCal, read a page out loud to us from the December devotional book she is reading this month. Every day a specific word is the subject the author writes about. Today’s word is, you guessed it, “rejoice.”

After we had taken the pups for a stroll thru Bay Shores Bluff Park this afternoon, we stopped at the Embarcadero to do a little window shopping, So as we were wandering through the Garden Gallery (gift shop) in Morro Bay we found this kitchen towel and I said to my daughter, “There’s our word for today.”

Well all the Christmas items were 50% off, so she purchased the beautiful red “rejoice” towel.

We also stopped at the “street fair market” in downtown Morro Bay to purchase several tamales for our dinner this evening and for eating tomorrow. Our next big cooking event will be Christmas dinner on Monday.

And that was our adventure for this day which is before the day before Christmas.
