Farewell Tree
A fairly steady day today but productive. First thing this morning a trip top the local butchers to get a couple of bits which included a queue of 45 minutes to get into the shop. one of the staff came out handing out small sausage rolls for the waiting shoppers which was nice a good job I had gone straight out before breakfast .
Back home a chilled out bit of time before going to visit Mum , Grace came with me to deliver her presents she asked if we minded her opening them we said we didn't mind and really like them.
Back home for a snack for lunch and a bit of football.
We then headed to Tesco to get some fresh flowers to take to Julie's Dads grave and then to my dads on the way home. On the way back from Metheringham I stopped to take my final shot of this years tree . I have gone with the same sort of shot as the others but have included a wide shot of it showing the edge of the field and the lovely late afternoon sky .
Back home and Grace has now gone to Derby to meat Sophia and have a meal with some of her family before the pair of them come home later this evening.
We are watching the Liverpool v Arsenal game before we then head out to the local for a few festive drinks and a festive sing along dressed in my Christmas Jumper of course which in the past has been an enjoyable evening
