Did a bit of tidying and then went up to the Avenue for salad and berries. Managed to get what I needed in the Co-op which was fortunate as m and s was heaving! Sorted out my 2024 diary when I got home and then S arrived for lunch. She stayed for a couple of hours and we had a nice chat. This is the chair she has just finished upholstering. Before she went home she drove me to the butchers to collect my turkey. Its a pain to park near there in the day so she went to fill her car up with petrol whilst I picked it up. Once I got home i put the elastic in the hood of my new coat- it took me a lot longer than I expected but did get it done. Shortest day today- thank goodness!
