Carols in the Square

A Kineton Tradition - in the week before Christmas there is an informal gathering in the square to sing carols.  I have collaged four together to show:
Our minister - won the award for best hat!
The musicians - did a great job
The assembled multitude - South Devon to the West Coast of Scotland
The raffle and food table - raising money for Tearfund (Gaza & Israel)

Great to see so many there, lots of people new to the village, and as usual, the children sang the first verse of away in a manger, the choir people sang several descants.

Seen on the village FB page, while I was posting this blip:
Has anyone seen the sheep from the church nativity scene?
A little later: they were there in the toddlers session this morning - they loved the scene and particularly, the sheep
Followed by: parents, please check your children's pockets
And finally: found them ... returned :-)
