Experimental
Early next year, one of my camera clubs is running a water droplet practical, and, as we have a drippy tap in our kitchen, I thought I should take the opportunity for some practice/experimentation.
This is just the drips falling into a glass of water topped up to the brim.
The red colour is the plastic chopping board the glass is standing on.
It's not easy! Think I need to experiment more with a narrower aperture and more light, but as a first attempt, it will do.
Just window and ceiling light, the camera is on a tripod and set to high speed electronic shutter, so ~120 frames a second.
Far too many to import into Lightroom so I picked one I liked from the camera jpgs and imported the 10 frames either side of that one.
I do have a spare ceramic valve somewhere - but that might have to wait until I've sorted this out!
Completely unrelated, Gill and Rachel have been running an illustrated advice session by WhatsApp with Stuart as he is sewing Christmas fabric gift bags for our Family Christmas. I've suggested they start a YouTube channel ... Uncle Stuart learns to sew :-)
