Oh So Close

Little Beckett did a lot better with his 2nd visit to see Mr. and Mrs. Claus. In the vestibule of our church (where he attends day care) Beckett actually went up and shook Santa's hand. WOO HOO! Did he sit on his lap? See the extra to find out...but the short answer is no.

I hate to destroy anybody's illusion of Santa, but this particular Santa is a friend of ours named Fred, who used to be a good umpire in the league I played softball in.

P.S. In birthday news, my s-i-l Lori is 64 today. Lisa's youngest sister defies description, but I love her just the same.
