A busy day!

Tessa, and her niece and nephew, came out for a walk with me this morning.

Her niece, 12, still has that exuberant childhood charm about her, so the walk included a visit to two different play parks. The nephew, 15, played with Hetty and threw endless sticks. Hetty had a whale of a time! 

We walked a route that took us through the very festively decorated shambles on the way home. I stopped to introduce Tessa to Anya, at Soupchick, and we both bought Ukrainian treats from her stall. I also bought myself a silver bangle from another stall.

This afternoon was spent in the cutting celebrating Jo's 5Oth and Simon's retirement with mulled wine, cake, mince pies and toblerone.

It got a bit chilly and dark around 4.30 so we climbed back up into our respective gardens.
