Gale force winds!

I was nearly blown off my feet whilst taking this photo at Crummock Water at lunchtime today!

There were big waves, and at times spindrift blowing across the lake.

Later we went to Buttermere, just a mile away, and it was mainly sheltered from the strong winds...
