Domestic day

Today I have made biscuits, bread, soup and cooked a meal for friends. Spent most of he day in the kitchen and then a lovely evening chatting over a meal.
I took the photo of the dinning room before they got here but then they arrived and I didn’t have time to post. The table looks rather messy now but not for long as they have just left and we will clear away, wash the dishes and tidy before we head off to bed, so perhaps another hour.
Did managed to get a walk with Hetty late afternoon and such a nice time to go as so many Christmas trees and lights were on.
