Seville bullring

We were unsure about a visit to the bullring as we don’t want to support bullfighting but in the end we went for two reasons. Firstly, we wanted to understand better why the bullfights happen and, secondly, we have a connection with one of Spain’s most famous bullfighters who has fought there. It was actually very interesting to learn about the history and traditions surrounding the bullring as well as admire the intricate costumes worn by the matadors.

After lunch we visited the Palacio de la Duenas which was particularly interesting as the rooms were furnished. See extra.

We went back into the city in the evening for a final look at the lights, the traditional Christmas market (cribs and statues) and tapas. See extra.
