Ran about a bit collecting things for a couple or three days away, after having to spend far too long generating an ISRC code for Yesnaby before uploading it. Went along to Seafield and picked up the hire car - a Clio, quite smooth to drive but a lot of unnecessary (and highly irritating) beepings for various alerts - by the time one has figured out what the alert is for, one has either passed it or, presumably, run into it due to looking at the dashboard rather than the road. 

Anyway, got up to Doune in good time and are ensconced in the v comfortable cottage - which, I just remembered, blipper SooB stayed in back in the summer!
