Dear Green Place 13 - Festival Park
The park is the only surviving area from the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988.
The festival was located at Plantation Quay and the partially filled-in Prince's Dock basin (the whole area is now known as Pacific Quay, for why, I don't know). The only thing I remember about the festival now is the view from the huge revolving tower (and waiting hours in the queue), the rollercoaster and that there was a new bridge across the Clyde (Bell's Bridge - possibly the world's longest pedestrian swing bridge? It was at the time, I'm not sure if that's still the case.)
