Apples and Oranges

Today I didn't have to deal with strange people, thankfully...
When I came to work, the bosses were in a meeting and since my material were in their office, I updated myself on what we have in the greenhouse, rearranged a bit on our larger tables and then I got a customer... she was one of those that walks around and placing things by the cashiers, walking away and around, coming back with more, talking a bit and then walking off again to find more. The cashier went into stand by mood three times! Thankfully, all the goods I'd registered were left, I just had to swipe my card, and swipe my card and swipe my card... and she wanted to leave the bags (paid for, thankfully - I wouldn't have agreed to it otherwise) to pick up later. And this was the larges sale I'd ever made! I was a bit wide eyed afterwards... did I get everything right?? Was that really the amount?? But, yes, it was. She did come back and I helped her arrange some moss in one of the pots, rewrap it again and then she went to come back later for the other bags. The bosses were happy with me afterwards.
I had a couple of more customers today and there were customers coming in as I left for the day. That's really good for the greenhouse, since we've noticed a drop in customers... and as I remember we had a lot of them before Covid. But, time change, and the economy has changed so it's understandable that my work isn't on the priority list.
One customer bought honey and complimented the tags. That was nice. :) Especially since I was cutting out paper fir cones, the stamped ones, in the cashiers area. That's been my work space for some times.
